jingga’s birthday is still 2 months away, but i have started making these origami pin wheels. polka dots for the girls and blue for the boys.
found the flower bloomed on a sunny day in mom in law’s house. it’s probably daisy/aster.
i’m always amazed with custom made personalize goody bags. last week, jingga got one from her cousin’s birthday. a passport wallet. what a unique idea!
now jingga can use this for her passport with her name on it.
after a series of baking failure, i tried a new recipe: chips cheese muffin.
i used less sugar and add more milk (1 cup instead of 3/4 cup). this time the muffin turned out good. we ate them right away. i love the combination of cheese and chocolate in it.
we tried the salted caramel sauce from bebikinan and everyone at home loves it, including jingga. so far we have tried to spread it on bread and pancake. somehow the taste reminds me the flavour of candies in my childhood.
when it comes to books, i’m very weak. i bought some books under $10 from book depository. one of them is outlander by diana gabaldon.
it’s a hard book for me with all scottish accent and terms. the book is about time travel and the character flew back to a few centuries behind.
i miss december with snow, frozen feeling on my fingers and layer of clothes with funny hat.
a few days ago, jingga brought home a plastic cup with beans inside. i water the beans daily and now it starts growing!
